Dr  Rachana Parikh is a medical doctor with a Master’s degree in Public Health. In her present vocation, she is supporting research activities of the Centre for Mental Health, Public Health Foundation of India. Her areas of interest and work are mental health, health systems, governance and community participation. In her previous assignments she has supported the institutionalization of community involvement in health programs and the integrated planning in the National Rural Health Mission, a flagship program with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.
