Sathish Srinivasan

Mr. Sathish Srinivasan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at University Hospital Ayr and University Hospital Crosshouse, Ayrshire and Arran NHS, Ayrshire, Scotland. His expertise is in the field of micro-incision cataract surgery, complex cataract surgery, medical and surgical diseases of the cornea, ocular surface and anterior segment reconstruction and LASIK laser refractive surgery. Mr. Srinivasan serves as the lead consultant for the corneal service at University Hospital Ayr and University Hospital Crosshouse. Following his higher surgical training in Ophthalmology at St. Paul’s Eye Unit, Royal Liverpool University Hospital, Liverpool, Mr. Srinivasan completed a two year clinical fellowship in Cornea, External eye diseases and Refractive Surgery at the Toronto Western Hospital, Department of Ophthalmology and Vision Sciences, University of Toronto, Toronto, Canada from 2005 to 2007.

Mr. Sathish Srinivasan currently serves as a Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer with the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and has been appointed as an examiner for the Ophthalmology examination with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, Scotland. He also serves as a member of the teaching faculty at major international professional meetings including the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ESCRS),American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), the United Kingdom & Ireland Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons (UKISCRS), and United Kingdom & Ireland Society of Ophthalmic Professionals (UKISOP).
