Mr. R.D. Thulasiraj is Director of Operations at Aravind Eye Care System & Executive Director of Lions Aravind Institute of Community Ophthalmology (LAICO). He began his career as Systems Manager in Berger’s paint (India) Ltd., Calcutta on June 1973. Then he joined as an Administrator, Aravind Eye Hospital & Post Graduate Institute Of Ophthalmology in 1981 and also as Executive Director of LAICO. He was also the President, VISION 2020 India. Mr. R.D. Thulasiraj holds his Bachelors from Madras Christian College and PGDM (MBA) from Indian Institute of Management, as well as visiting Scholar, University of Michigan Ann Arbor, USA.
