Rachel Cox is the Volume Coordinator for Essential Surgery. In her role as Education Program Analyst at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), she provides programmatic and communications support to the education unit of Global Health Sciences (GHS), and serves as assistant to both the GHS Director of Education and to Haile T. Debas, the volume’s lead editor. Cox previously worked in the Departments of Clinical Pharmacy and Anesthesia at UCSF, and was Education Manager at The Mexican Museum in San Francisco. She also holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Applied Craft and Design.
