DCP3 Advisory Committee member, Professor Richard Skolnik, has recently launched a massive online course (MOOC) through Coursera entitled "Essentials of Global Health." The course is a uniquely comprehensive introduction to global health, covers a wide range of topics, and provides the foundations for further study and practice. The course is based on the global health courses taught by Professor Skolnik at both Yale University and The George Washington University. The course is, in many ways, a digital version of Professor Skolnik's textbook, Global Health 101, and can be used side by side with the book. The MOOC creators have developed an extensive course syllabus which includes some of the most up-to-date readings on key global health topics, including DCP3 chapters.
