New Global Initiative for Health Priority Setting

The international Decision Support Initiative (iDSI) is the latest global initiative from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation that aims to increase the use of evidence and data in health spending in low- and middle-income countries.  It emerged from the recommendations of a Center for Global Development working group led by DCP3 Advisory Committee member Amanda Glassman and with DCP3 Project Director Rachel Nugent as a member.  

iSDI will serve as a clearinghouse of information and experience on how to use more systematic data, decision processes, and transparency in setting health priorities.  Read more
